This is quite a different Igneous Flame release. Imagine elements of mid-period Peter Gabriel, Japan, Plaid and YMO with an idiosyncratic ethnic percussion section jamming along with a psychedelic guitarist playing rhythm parts and liquid sustained guitar solos over the top.

'Speed of Life' is the sister album to 'Ki' (released same date) in that it uses some of the same pool of drone material. Some tracks are variants on others, which were included for completion's sake.
